OVERVIEW:
Take advantage of one of the largest ecommerce indices to create creative, customer-friendly applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build out core application features for Kango's cutting edge applications.
• Build algorithms to process hundreds of millions of records of data and make the data work in new and efficient ways.
• Become a student of semantic search and teach us what you know about building great applications, scalable systems, and best web practices.
• Reports directly to the VP of Product Development

EXPERIENCE:

• You are one of the most talented coders in the Valley. You are quick on your feet, known for taking initiative, and the go-to person at your current job.
• You are a winner, goal oriented, and always looking to use your creativity.
• You are experienced in 3-tier web application development, from the database to the UI layer, you've done it all, and you understand how it all works.
• You learn new languages and technologies quickly. That's why you love what you do. We do Java. We do Ruby on Rails. You already know one and can learn the other.
• Like us, you are hard working but also work smart with balance for families and things that matter. We're an experienced start up team and act accordingly.
• You love a team that has people just as smart as you. You have a strong desire to be part of a something that will revolutionize travel search.
• You have desire to be at an early stage company - you want to have ownership over a big part of what we do and have a stake and a say in Kango's future.
• You can work in Palo Alto - our office is in downtown, very close to Caltrain.
• You have two to five years experience.
