Allison - is a travel chameleon - just as happy hiking through a rainforest as lounging on a beach. Prior to Kango, Allison gained travel industry experience at Hotels.com and worked for the Florida Department of Commerce and Tourism while in school. She received a B.S. from Florida State and has moved around a lot since then, but currently makes her home in San Francisco.

Memorable Travel Experience: The best travel experiences are shared with friends. Allison is a big believer in absorbing a new destination with a few companions. It prompts you to try new things and gets you out of your normal travel rut. Plus, the group dynamic always attracts other groups so you end up making new friends along the way. Allison has traveled to Germany, Austria, Italy, Mexico, and throughout the United States with groups of 4-8 friends. Perhaps the most memorable moment of one of these trips was when her group befriended several travelers from the Netherlands who had learned English by watching re-runs of Dallas and The Dukes of Hazzard. They still keep in touch!

Favorite Travel Destination: Allison prefers experiencing new destinations over returning to the same ones year after year; but if she had to choose one place to return it would be Belize. With its diverse landscape, amazing wildlife and unparalleled diving, Belize is an ideal escape.

Dream Travel Destination: Thailand and China with her friend who has family in both countries.
